MESSIAH AND ST. PETER’S LUTHERAN CHURCHES CONTRIBUTE TO LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF

The Messiah and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church has contributed 125 Personal
Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. The kits contain bath towels,
toothbrushes, soaps, nail clippers and combs which will be distributed
around the world to those in-need. Also, 19 quilts were made and donated by
the ladies of Messiah. The quilting is a year-round project while the
personal care kits are done yearly. Thrivent Financial generously donated
$250 seed money for this very worthwhile project. Also donating most
generously was Letrent’s Pharmacy in Bedford with combs and nail clippers.
